“The heavens tell about the glory of God. The skies announce what his hands have made. Each new day tells more of the story, and each night reveals more and more about God’s power. “(PSALM 19:1-2)

God set a standard at creation for everything that He created. The Bible says, “everything was good”. This is the minimum standard for all the works of God.
I want you to examine your life today, can you say everything is good?

As Christians we are held to a higher standard by God (and rightly so). We must walk our talk. God expects more from us just like I expect more from my kids than other people’s kids. He is our Father, after all! We are expected to obey God and follow His commandments. Behave as much as possible like Jesus. Love one another. Show compassion to those sufferings, orphans, and widows. Integrity, truth, honesty, hard work, faithfulness and indeed everything the Bible talks about we are expected to do.

You can find your purpose being setting your mind to obey the law of God and choose your path according to what is true, right, honorable, just and of good report. You can change your thinking and begin to work with God to become a person of value that has good success.

God has a plan to give you a good outcome and happy ending, however, you need to work together with him to enter into your appointed place.

  1. What things in your lifestyle are not good?
  2. Are you really assured that all things shall work together for your good?
  3. In what ways do you need to embrace higher moral values and standards in your attitudes and behaviour?

Prayer: Lord, what an amazing truth! You chose me even before you created the world to be holy and blameless in Your sight. I can hardly comprehend how it must grieve Your heart that Your people are so careless with this gift – myself included! Teach me to more fully understand what it means to be set apart for the purposes of Your kingdom! Shine on me, Holy God, in Jesus name. Amen
